Adobe Connect


During Semester 1 2010 we piloted Adobe Connect v7.5. The product included 'interactive technologies such as voice, video, podcasting, instant messaging, application sharing, polling, and whiteboarding'. Further information and free trial accessible via the Adobe Website.

A software used to create information and general presentations, online training materials, web conferencing, learning modules, and user desktop sharing. The product is entirely Adobe Flash based. All meeting workspaces are organized into 'pods'; with each pod performing a specific role (i.e. chat, whiteboard, note, etc.). (from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adobe_Acrobat_Connect)
